1. Jesus caught lying. Modern translation

Christophany is a theological term that encompass the belief that Jesus pre-incarnate appeared as "the angel of the lord" in the old testament.
Now, this belief aren’t new. Far from it.
Christophany is a common belief in evangelical, protestant, and traditional conservative Christian theology.
The early church fathers Justin Martyr (c. 100–165 AD), Irenaeus of Lyons (c. 130–202 AD), Tertullian (c. 155–220 AD), Clement of Alexandria (c. 150–215 AD), Origen (c. 184–253 AD), Novatian (c. 200–258 AD) and Eusebius of Caesarea (c. 260–339 AD) all held the belief that Jesus pre-incarnate appeared as the angel of the lord in the old testament.
Also, Martin Luther (1483–1546) and John Calvin (1509–1564) believed Jesus appeared as the angel of the lord in the old testament.
This article builds upon the belief that Jesus showed up as pre-incarnate in the old testament.

Genesis 22:9 When they reached the place God had told him about, Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood.

Genesis 22:11 But the angel of the Lord called out to him from heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied.
Genesis 22:12 "Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.”
Here are evidence for your own eyes that prove Jesus was the same as the angel of the lord.
According to the new testament Jude 5 Jesus was the individual who brought Israel out of Egypt.
Now according to the old testament Judges 2:1 the angel of the lord brought Israel out of Egypt.
For the sake of making this article less complicated more above evidence that Jesus was the angel of the lord is omitted. Plenty more can be found elsewere on the internet.
Now.
The individuals featured at the beginning of this article; Justin Martyr, Irenaeus of Lyons, Tertullian, Clement of Alexandria, Origen, Novatian, Eusebius of Caesarea, Martin Luther, and John Calvin all believed that when Jesus pre-incarnate appeared as the angel of the lord in the old testament he could see into the future.
The old testament include alot of evidence where this the angel of the lord have foreknowledge.
For example in Genesis 16:11 the angel of the lord knows that the slave Hagar will give birth to a son in the future. This is exactly what happens later in Genesis 16:15
Now, let’s rewind
Back in Genesis 22:12 the angel of the lord (Jesus) stated to Abraham; "Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.”
Take a careful look of the used words in Genesis 22:12 "Now I know …"
With these above words Jesus otherwise known as the angel of the lord stated he was not able to know the future in that instance.
Now remember Jesus is perfect. How can he not foresee the future in one instance and do it in another?
